Ali Forney Center
The Mission of the Ali Forney Center is to help homeless Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Questioning youth be safe and become independent as they move from adolescence to adulthood. Too many of these youth are rejected by their families and the broader community and are thus forced to survive on the streets, facing the dangers of violence, HIV infection and homophobia. The Ali Forney Center is committed to providing homeless LGBT&Q youth with the services they need to thrive, including shelter, HIV Prevention and life skills training.

We build support for LGBTQ people among families and friends, co-workers and employers, pastors and parishioners, doctors and teachers, neighbors, and the public. Through the following programs and projects, we are enhancing the lived experiences of LGBTQ people and their families, as we change hearts and minds across America and around the globe.

The Trevor Project
The Trevor Project's mission is to end suicide among gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) young people.
They are the world’s largest suicide prevention and crisis intervention organization for LGBTQ young people. The organization works to save young lives by providing support through free and confidential suicide prevention and crisis intervention programs on platforms where young people spend their time: the 24/7 phone lifeline, chat, text and soon-to-come integrations with social media platforms. They also run TrevorSpace, the world’s largest safe space social networking site for LGBTQ youth, and operate innovative education, research, and advocacy programs.
